A museum with a theme on “the human body” in La Coruna in Galicia, Spain. Two entirely different walls, one of pre-cast concrete clad with local slate curving out towards the sea and a granite wall zigzag in plan like a Japanese folding screen, sandwich the exhibition space.

The exhibition hall in side is one continuous space. A ramp meanders along the solid rock organically connecting the exhibition spaces on ?3 levels to form the regular route. All floors and handrails of the exhibition space are clad with slate. Standing along the walls or independently are the interactive exhibits. Controlled natural light pours down from above.

The regular route ends in a hall equipped with various projection equipment including a 70mm system, that can also be used as a lecture hall. The administration offices are situated above.

In the restaurant, emphasis is placed on panoramic view and the facade is a glass gallery not unlike an architectural feature traditional to La Coruna gallery not unlike an architectural feature traditional to La Coruna.
